I remembered that I had purchase the flap position sensor kit from Van’s a while back. When I was installing the flap system I totally forgot about it. Well, last night I remembered. In order to install it some of the parts had to come back out for modifications.
A little hole had to be drilled into the center portion of the flap torque tube Fabricated the rod that connects the torque tube horn to the position sensor Wired up the molex connector to the position sensor wires
Match drilled flap torque tube assembly Drilled a safety wire hole in the flap linear actuator arm Flap actuator and torque tubes installed
