Vinyl wrapped the right flap

I’m waiting on the correct AN7 bolt to get delivered from Aircraft Spruce so I can continue on the nose gear install. So tonight I decided to try and wrap one of the flaps to get some experience with the process and decide if I like the finish. All in all it came out pretty darn good. Way easier then painting. The gloss is not “show car” finish, but it does have nice gloss. Probably about as good as I could get painting myself, without the mess and having to build a spray booth. I think I’m gonna stick with it.

Starting with the bottom. You always start bottom and aft so your seams get sealed by the wing, instead of pushed open. I planned out the seam so that it is on the bottom, near the natural skin seam

On my first try on the top of the flap I didn't squeegee out the film very good. Fight some wrinkles I accidently ripped the film. Off it came and in the trash for try \#2
